The Larkins season 2: Release date, cast and latest news
Season 2 now has an official release date.
ITV's cosy series based on HE Bates's 1958 novel The Darling Buds of May, called The Larkins, is about to return to our screens, with Bradley Walsh and Joanna Scanlan back as much-loved couple Ma and Pop Larkin.
The second season is set to see The Larkin family at war with their new neighbours the Jerebohms, played by Morgana Robinson and Julian Rhind Tutt, while there's also Charley's (Tok Stephen) wedding to get excited about and a new romance for Primrose Larkin (Lydia Page).
One major change up in the cast will see Joelle Rae playing Ma and Pop's eldest daughter Mariette, after Bridgerton's Sabrina Bartlett left the series.
Scanlan previously spoke about how replacing Bartlett in the role has "gone very well", telling RadioTimes.com that "I think it'll be pretty seamless actually".
Scanlan also recently teased that viewers will see "some events which are pretty cataclysmic for the family" this season, while Walsh joked about the one "problem" he has with playing Pop.
